Serax Teapot Black Metal. Dimensions: Ø 17.5 x H 8 cm- Width with pouring spout: L 17.5 cm -Capacity: 1.2 L. The Collage teapot is a contemporary version of the traditional Japanese teapot. The opening located in the centre of the lid subtly gives off the tea's aromas and flavours into the air. This cast iron teapot has a mat finish on the outside and a glazed one on the inside. With a large capacity (1.2 litres), this teapot with insulating properties keeps your tea hot for a long time. This teapot can serve as a kettle: it is compatible with all heat sources, except induction and microwaves. A cast iron teapot cannot be washed in the dishwasher or with a detergent product: you just need to lightly rinse it with clean water. The tannins which are deposited on the inner walls must not be removed. The designer, Giel Dedeurwaerder, explains: The Collage tea service is based on a perfect balance between material, form and proportions, and on the idea that tableware can also serve as a decoration instead of being stored away after use. Taking their inspiration from Japanese creations, Giel Dedeurwaerder and Brent Neve, from the Utilise.objects designer collective, created solid acacia teacups and a cast iron teapot. The combination of the warm wooden and the indestructible cast iron grant the service a durable, practical and aesthetic nature that the duo were aiming for. Refunds
