The Evolve Weight Clip Run Ring System is a revolutionary set-up where a lead clip type arrangement transforms to free running after a fish is hooked. The weight/lead sets the hook and then the system transforms to free running, so the fish cannot use the weight to eject the hook, and the angler doesn’t need to drop the weight/lead. Better for the fish, the angler, and the environment! • Quickly coverts to free running after a fish is hooked • Two release fittings in the clip, so swivel release can be tuned to the size of weight being used and/or the angling situation requirements • Side hole for PVA string/tape to restrain swivel, so system can be used with mesh PVA bags • Works with lines, leaders and tubing • Clips supplied with Weight Links and Silicone Sleeves • Moulded in the Evolve ‘dark camo’ finish for optimum rig concealment Designed to work perfectly with Evolve Swivel Weights, but will also work with all other swivel lead products. The Clip has two swivel fittings (+ & -) which have different release forces, so the set-up can be tuned to suit the size of weight/lead being used and/or angling situation requirements (what force you want the swivel to pull out of the Clip, and therefore how quick the system converts to free running). Both fittings are externally marked on the Clip with an “+” & “-“ for easy identification. “-“ is typically for weights/leads up to 3oz, and “+” typically for weights/leads over 3oz (but can be set-up differently to achieve a specific operation). For storage, the central channel of the Clip can be used to house the swivel eye (swivel eye vertical in the slot), so the clip is not loaded unnecessarily. The system can be stored with the swivel eye housed in either the “+” or “-“ engagements, but for optimal longevity, we recommend the swivel eye be positioned in the slot. Alternatively, slide the Clip up the line/leader and off the swivel when not in use. The Clip features a side hole so the swivel can be restrained with PVA, for use with mesh PVA bags. The rubber Plug holds the set-up under light tension in use, and becomes a shock absorbing bead once free running. Tubing can be inserted into the bore at the rear end of the Plug, securing it in position. Supplied with Weight Links for rapid attachment/detachment of the weight/lead, and Silicone Sleeves to fit over the Weight Link to eliminate tangles. Moulded in the Evolve ‘dark camo’ finish, to compliment all the Evolve end tackle products, and enhance rig concealment. Available in six per pack.
