The weight and size have been reduced to the absolute minimum. The Ferro Rods | Fire Steels: We’ve included the largest Ferro Rod that could fit inside the tin (10x100mm)! This large rod allows for up to 20,000 strikes. A greater striking distance also ensures larger showers of molten hot sparks, making fast-work igniting both man-made and natural tinders. The Strikers: The new concave-shaped strikers are much larger than traditional strikers, making them easier to grip with cold hands or while wearing gloves. Made from high-speed steel and feature a slightly raised striking edge to remove more material when struck, resulting in larger showers of sparks. Waterproof Fire Plugs (x5): The ultimate all-weather fire starter, these plugs catch a flame using a Ferro Rod even after submersion in water! Each plug burns for about 6 minutes, producing a flame hot and long enough to ignite wet or damp kindling. Properly prepared, half a plug provides ample fuel to start your fire. Waterproof Storm Matches (x20): These waterproof matches stay lit in high winds and rain and include strike papers, but can also ignite on various abrasive surfaces. 12x Magnifying Lens: These 12x magnification lenses will reliably get a fire started in sufficient sunlight. This method works well with various tinders, including char cloth and dry grass, making it a dependable choice for fire starting. Refunds
