Bokashi is an alternative composting method that converts food waste into nutrient rich soil conditioner, plant food and pre compost through fermentation. By layering kitchen waste with Bokashi bran inside an air tight container, the material breaks down at room temperature producing both liquid feed and fermented compost material ready for soil use. We also do a larger Bokashi Bin Kit Our kit includes: 2 x Bokashi Buckets, 2 taps, 1 scoop, 1 bran tamper and 1kg of Bokashi Bran. Bokashi Buckets have a volume of 15 Litres. Dimensions: H: 37cm. W: 31cm. D: 25.5cm Bokashi Compost Bin For Kitchen Food Waste The Bokashi compost bin is designed for indoor food waste recycling. Its compact form makes it suitable for kitchen space where traditional composting is not practical. The fermentation process produces soil conditioner with high nutrient value for garden use. Bokashi Bin System With Air Tight Lid And Tap Each Bokashi bin includes an air tight lid to reduce exposure to air during fermentation. A tap at the base allows excess liquid to be drained regularly.
